Privacy Policy
Ghast Studios (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides Dungeon Walker. This policy explains what information the app processes, how it is used, and the choices available to players.
Information we process
- Account information: When you continue with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, email address, and available profile name so we can authenticate you and associate your cloud save with your account.
- Health and fitness information: With your permission, Dungeon Walker reads step records from Android Health Connect. The app uses those records to calculate daily and lifetime step totals, walking XP, milestones, streaks, and related gameplay. Dungeon Walker does not request location data.
- Game and social information: We store character progression, inventory, currencies, achievements, guild membership, guild contributions, brawl and dungeon results, selected cosmetics, and other game state needed to provide the service.
- Technical information: The service necessarily processes ordinary connection information such as IP address, request timestamps, authentication sessions, and service error information when your device communicates with our backend providers.
- Notification choices: Notification permission and category preferences are stored on your device. Scheduled milestone, storefront, and Mercenary alerts are generated for app features you enable.
How we use information
We use information only to authenticate players, maintain cloud saves, award step-based progress, provide guild and combat features, prevent abuse, troubleshoot the service, deliver enabled notifications, and meet legal or platform obligations. Health and fitness information is not used for advertising, marketing, or credit decisions.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. We use Google for sign-in and Supabase for authentication, database, and cloud-save infrastructure. Those providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. Information you intentionally share through guild features, such as character name, class, title, level, card cosmetic, contribution totals, and combat results, is visible to members of your guild.
Retention and deletion
Account and game information is retained while your account remains active and as needed to provide the service. You may permanently delete your account from the account panel inside Dungeon Walker or through our account deletion page. Deletion removes your authentication identity, cloud saves, characters, personal progression, guild membership, streaks, and associated player records. Shared guild property may remain with the guild without retaining a link to your deleted identity. Limited security or legal records may be retained only when required by law.
Your controls
You may revoke Health Connect permissions through Android system settings, disable notification categories inside Dungeon Walker, revoke notification permission through Android settings, sign out, or delete your account. Revoking step access prevents new Health Connect step synchronization but does not automatically delete previously earned game progress.
Security
We use encrypted network connections, authenticated database access, row-level access controls, restricted server functions, secure mobile session storage, and server-side validation intended to protect player information. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Dungeon Walker is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information contrary to this policy, contact Ghast Studios so it can be reviewed and removed.
Changes
We may update this policy as Dungeon Walker changes. Material revisions will be posted here with a new effective date.
